How I work

How I work in counselling sessions

In sessions in Bergamo or online, we begin with a specific situation and what matters to you. I offer attentive listening and questions to help you reflect. The choices remain yours.

During a session

1

I listen, at your pace

You can begin with something that happened recently, a decision you have been putting off or a relationship that feels difficult. You do not need to arrive with a prepared speech.

2

We bring the situation into focus

Questions help us distinguish what is happening, what you need and the possibilities you can see at this point.

3

We look for a possible next step

That might mean preparing for a difficult conversation, recognising a boundary or rethinking your priorities. In later sessions, we return to what has changed and what still needs attention.

Getting in touch

The first conversation is free

Use the online calendar to book a free 30-minute introductory call, by phone or video. You can also message me on WhatsApp if you prefer. Tell me what brings you here and ask any questions you have. Together, we will consider whether counselling could be helpful. You are free to decide whether to continue.

Further sessions are paid. Before booking them, we agree on the fee, duration and frequency so you know what to expect. We can meet in Bergamo or online. For an online session, choose a quiet, private place with a stable internet connection.

Counselling offers a space to be heard and find your bearings when facing everyday difficulties. It does not replace psychotherapy, medical treatment or other healthcare services.

Frequently asked questions

Before you get in touch

What is counselling?

It is a space for listening and conversation, where you can better understand a situation, recognise your own resources and consider your options. We start with what you are experiencing and a goal we agree on together.

Is counselling a form of psychotherapy?

No. Counselling does not provide diagnoses or replace psychotherapy, medical treatment or other healthcare services. During our first conversation, we consider together whether it is appropriate for what you need.

What happens when I first get in touch?

Book a free 30-minute introductory call in the online calendar, or message me on WhatsApp to arrange it. You can tell me about your situation and ask questions, with no obligation to continue.

Can I have sessions online?

Yes. You can choose online sessions or meet in person in Bergamo, by appointment. We will agree on the option that best suits your needs.

What happens after the free call?

If we decide to continue, further sessions are paid. We agree on the fee, duration and frequency before we begin.
